This is the last weekend for a month that Montclair swimmers have off. In March, we have the Walnut Creek meet (in Pleasant Hill), the Last Chance meet (at Mills), the MONTCLAIR PENTATHLON (in El Cerrito), and the Junior Olympics (in San Ramon). That's a full month. So, to celebrate this last weekend, Mother Nature has forecast rain. And showers for good measure.
So what is your swimmer going to do? How about have them go swimming to stay out of the rain? This is officially declared "Race your Parent" weekend for the Montclair Swim Team. Any swimmer who beats his or her parent in a 50 yard freestyle race gets to officially announce at practice that their generation is faster than Bill's.
